From Lawyer to Survivor: Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury in Legal Practice
In 2015, personal injury attorney Darryl Isaacs survived a traumatic brain injury that forever changed his life and career. In this session, he shares his journey of recovery and his experience continuing to practice law after TBI. Drawing on his personal and professional insights, Mr. Isaacs will highlight how lawyers can better recognize the signs and symptoms of traumatic brain injury in their clients, understand its impact on cases, and advocate effectively for those affected. Attendees will come away with both inspiration and practical tools to identify and address TBI in their own practices.
